Worship is more than just what happens on Sunday mornings. Worship is one of the ways we remain connected to God because at the root of worship lies surrender. At Life Point, we want to be marked by lives surrendered to the very words of God and instruction of Holy Spirit. From where we live, to where we work, to where we play, we want to live in such a way that people are directed to Jesus. That is the true essence of what it means to live a life of surrender, to live in a state of worship.
With that in mind, our Sunday gatherings are centered around King Jesus and him glorified. As musicians, we prepare with excellence and embrace the approval of our God whether our notes are perfect or not. As audio and visual servants, we are attentive to the smallest of details as to not cause distraction and enjoy observing a gathering of people completely in awe of God and not our graphics and sound quality. As worshippers, we come expecting to experience the love and power of God as we long for His presence.
We do not believe Sundays are times for performance but involvement. Our worship and A/V teams are encouraged to take on new challenges and grow in their craft including, but not limited to, song writing, service planning, and coaching.
